HIMA Yogyakarta serves as the central association for the Acehnese diaspora across the Special Region of Yogyakarta. It brings members together as a community that shares a common cultural root and a common place to build.

Our work preserves cultural heritage while fostering academic, social, and professional mutual assistance. Members support one another through study, work, and everyday life far from home.

Founding values guide every program: togetherness, service to members, respect for Acehnese tradition, and responsibility to the wider Yogyakarta community.

We keep Acehnese language, customs, and traditions alive through gatherings and shared activities that younger members can take part in and carry forward.

We support members in their studies through mentorship, peer guidance, and shared knowledge, helping students settle in and progress in their academic paths.

When members or communities need help, we organize mutual assistance and coordinate support so that no one faces difficulty alone.

Direct communication channels remain open via official email, phone, and secretariat address. Reach out for membership questions, partnership enquiries, or event information.
